Design Mentoring

1:1 mentoring for designers building a professional practice — in English or Spanish.

Design school teaches craft. It does not teach you how to run a practice, talk to clients, price your work, build a portfolio that attracts the right projects, or navigate the business of being a designer. That is what mentoring is for. I work with designers at different stages — from students preparing their first portfolio to professionals transitioning into brand design.

What's included

01 — Portfolio review

We start with a structured review of your current work — what it communicates, what is missing, and where the strongest opportunities are.

02 — Goal setting

We define 3–5 specific, measurable goals for the mentoring period — career targets, portfolio pieces, skills to develop, clients to attract.

03 — Working sessions

Regular 1:1 sessions (weekly or bi-weekly) where we work on specific challenges — live feedback, project review, and problem-solving.

04 — Progress review

At the end of the engagement, we assess progress against initial goals and define next steps for continued professional development.

How many sessions do I need?

Depends on your goals. A portfolio review is one session. A career transition takes 8–12 sessions over 2–3 months. We define the scope together.

Do you work with designers from any country?

Yes. All sessions are remote. I work with designers across Latin America, the US, Canada, and Europe.
